One of the basic principles of Clean Elections is to restore campaigns to grassroots activities and open up the political process to both candidates and citizens. You can help to accomplish this by holding a $5 Clean Elections Party in order to collect $5 qualifying contributions for a candidate you support. A $5 party will help candidates qualify to run under the Clean Elections law, and it will also give your friends and neighbors the opportunity to discuss issues of concern with candidates.
